What happened to women in a conservative Buddhist society when their country opened up and they became part of the global sisterhood?

Myanmar artists Chuu Wai Nyein and Htein Lin explored this question with a series of beautiful and intriguing new works, shown for the first time in Retour de Voyage Gallery, Provence, France.
