Htein Lin's blockbuster show "Skirting the Issue" was opened in Tokyo on Tuesday June 18th, where it ran until the end of the month.  The show caused a huge controversy in Yangon, showing that Htein Lin was doing his job as a contemporary artist.

In addition to the women's portraits, Htein Lin has revisited his past and created five stunning new "Return to Prison" paintings, which powerfully depict his experience during the years he was locked away.
