KT Zin studied under Myo Khin, leader of an important school of abstract artists based in Mandalay. They have been pioneers in Myanmar in abstraction, and they are now well recognized beyond these shores. KT Zin has a superb sense of colour, her flowing compositions using contrasting saturated colours that manage to achieve a pleasing harmony.
